The Nose Knows: This class uses the super-sniff powers of your dog’s nose to detect scents and challenge his brain. This 6-week series of fun-filled classes allows dogs to find objects, discriminate scents, and mentally challenges them in ways that delight their senses!!! Participants have reported that they have never seen such ‘unbridled joy’ in their dogs as they use their powerful noses the way they were born to do! And best of all it is a game that doesn’t require any previous training and ALL dogs can do this! There are no prerequisites. Join us in the latest Urban Dog Sport!!! Freaky Fido Class: Do you have a Fido that seems unpredictable? He barks and lunges at dogs when you’re out walking him or he’s calm one minute and explodes when a jogger, cyclist or any fast-moving object comes by? Or how about the seemingly shy dog who accepts women, but is not very social to men or children? And then there’s the dog who tolerates everyone as long as you are not on his turf. Most owners are frustrated and scared because their dogs feel like ticking-time bombs. This class is designed to give owners the confidence to handle any situation with their Freaky Fido and through our gentle methods we will teach you how to turn Freaky Fido into Friendly Fido. Problem Solvers Workshops: This class is for anyone who has completed the Fido Foundations and wants more practice and one on one attention or perhaps there’s a new behavior that has cropped up that doesn’t necessarily need a 7-week class to solve. You bring the ‘problem’ and we’ll show you how to solve it and we’ll write up a plan for you to practice at home.
Schedule: Thursdays at 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm or 6:30 pm. Pay as you go, 50 minute classes $25.00 per class
Fido Friends Foundations: This class was especially created with the owner in mind. Sure, we could give you a fish, so to speak, but in this class we’re going to show you how to fish! Behind every brilliant dog, is a skilled human and we are going to teach you the necessary skills to train your dog and share the secrets of how dogs think. You will learn how to communicate with your dog and how to troubleshoot the undesirable dog behaviors. Your dog will learn to offer SIT, DOWN, COME when called, STAY and Go to Mat, and walk by your side when leashed. Schedule: Saturday, April 16, 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm,

Fido Photo Op: What pet-parent doesn’t enjoy bragging about their canine kid’s accomplishments? Now that you’ve mastered the basics, it’s time to expand your dog’s repertoire. In this unique class we will work with your dog’s special talents and give you a variety of tricks and ‘trick behaviors’ that your particular dog is most likely to do; we will video our sessions and post them with a special link for your enjoyment or for you to send to friends and family!
And if you’d like, we can even stage a photo of you and your canine playing a game of poker! Schedule: Thursdays, 7:30 pm, 6-week class $120.00 props and costumes included.
