  • Dog Loving Bloggers Wanted

Creating a "dog blog" for Chicago is a BIG task and I need your help! If you are knowledgeable in one or more breeds or if you would like to write with us here on Chicago Dog pads, please let me know! While it is not a "paid" job (my day job is as a local REALTOR), it is very satisfying to help others have fun with man's best friend.

Never blogged before? No worries! I can show you in a couple of minutes what to do. It is easy!

Walsh Park

Walsh Park is listed in the City of Chicago Park District Dog Friendly Locations as 1722 N. Ashland.

This is the correct address for the main park, but the Dog Park can only be accessed from the 1700 block of Marshfield.

Located on the North side of Walsh Park, it is a city block long and a bit narrow. The East 1/3 of the park is a dirt surface, a bit dirty and probably a bit muddy after a rain. Only several other people and dogs present when I visited on a warm Sunday afternoon.
