Wicker Park Dog Park, Chicago

This Chicago Dog Park is located at the corner of Wicker Park (the street) and Schiller, most references list 1425 N. Damen as the Dog Park, but it (1425) is really one entrance to Wicker Park and one block west of the Dog Friendly Location. This area is mostly concrete or black top surface with some gravel areas for our furry friends to relieve themselves.

The day I visited, there was a children’s wading pool with water and some of the dogs were enjoying jumping into the cold water. A medium sized park with plenty of seating for the owners. A few trees for shade add to the Park setting. We enjoyed our visit; it was a clean and well maintained Chicago Dog Park.
